Lansing celebrates its annual Good Neighbor Day celebration with a host of events on Saturday.

Kick off Good Neighbor Day from 7 a.m. until noon at the Lansing Kiwanis pancake breakfast at T.F. South High School.

If you're a runner, try participating in Just a Little Run, sponsored by the Lan-Oak Park District. Doors open at 8 a.m., with walks and runs starting between 8:40 a.m. and 9 a.m. For more information call 708-474-8552.

The Good Neighbor Day Parade starts at 2 p.m. This year's theme is Lansing Rocks Around the Clock and there are approximately 110 parade entries.

During the parade you can purchase the Lansing Chamber's cookbook and Chamber Cards at the judge's station. The cost of the cCookbook, which features over 65 recipes of all types and which features many different coupons is $12. The Chamber Cards, which offers a host of discounts from local merchants, is $10. Or, you can get both for only $20!

Cap off the day by bowling for a good cause. From 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m., the Success Center will be hosting a fundraiser at Lynwood Bowl. For only $20 per person and only $15 for those 11 and under, you get three games, shoe rental and light refreshments.
